Church bus hits semi truck, car in Tennessee; at least 8 killed

DANDRIDGE, Tenn., Oct. 2 - A church bus blew a tire, crossed the median and overturned on Interstate 40 in Tennessee Wednesday afternoon killing at least eight people, state police said. Twelve people injured in the accident were transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, WATE-TV, Knoxville, reported. The bus was on its side but did not catch fire while the semi truck went up in flames. The Tennessee Highway Patrol closed all lanes of Interstate 40.
